Truck 5
Back to History Section
Truck 5 entered service in 1926 and was placed in Station 8 on the Corner of Eagle and Neilson (now closed). I shared its quarters with Engine8 and serve up until 1973 when its aerial ladder collapsed completely separating from the rig at its turntable. One fireman was severely injured. Pictured above is its 1952 LaFrance 100 Ft midship aerial.
