When the paid dept. began service, it included only one truck company, which was called Rescue1. This was actually the Hook & Ladder company which was used in the volunteer department. Rescue1 was replaced with another 2 horse tiller and called Truck2. Pictured below is its 1899 Gleason & Bailey Dedrick, 2 horse 55 ft aerial. Above is a 1946 American LaFrance Jox 100 ft steel aerial.
